Sometimes you can travel half way around the world, dump your bag on your bed for the night, walk out onto the street and feel completely at home.

That's how it was for me on the 7th of April 2006 when I found myself outside the Star Royal Hotel in Cambodia's capital city 'Phnom Penh'. I took my lens cap off my camera and didn't put it back on until I boarded the plane back home.

In those fourteen days, I toured through the heart of Cambodia by boat, bus and bike, I was captivated by the raw beauty of the country and touched by how friendly and caring the Cambodian people were.

To follow, are a selection of images from by journey through one of the most endearing countries you'd ever wish to experience.
